Best International Educational Destinations

Posted By : admin/ 840 0

Choosing among international educational destinations used to come down..

Choosing among international educational destinations used to come down to one question: USA, UK, or nowhere? That’s changed. Rupee depreciation has made the US and UK meaningfully pricier over the past few years, and at the same time, tuition-free public universities in Germany, generous scholarships in Korea and the Nordics, and strong regional options in Asia have all become realistic alternatives.

The right destination now depends less on prestige alone and more on budget, course, and what happens after graduation.

Best International Educational Destinations

United States

The US remains the top pick for students who want maximum flexibility the ability to explore subjects before committing to a major, and access to institutions from Ivy League research universities to smaller liberal arts colleges.

Visiting NASA facilities, Boston and Philadelphia’s Revolutionary-era history, and Washington D.C.’s Capitol Hill and Smithsonian museums all make a US trip educational well beyond the classroom. The trade-off is cost: total costs for a US master’s now run from roughly ₹65 lakh at the low end to well over ₹1 crore.

United Kingdom: Compact and Fast

London’s appeal hasn’t dimmed Shakespeare’s Globe, the Houses of Parliament, and Buckingham Palace remain genuinely useful stops for a culture-and-history-focused trip. UK master’s programmes are typically one year, which keeps total cost lower than the US in absolute terms even though annual fees are high, landing most one-year UK master’s in the ₹35–60 lakh range all-in.

Germany: The Budget-Conscious Favourite

Germany has become the default answer for cost-conscious families. Public universities charge little to no tuition even for international students — usually just a semester contribution in the range of ₹20,000–35,000 which means a full two-year master’s, tuition and living costs included, can come in around ₹17–28 lakh. Beyond the numbers, Germany’s own engineering and industrial heritage makes it a natural choice for STEM-focused educational tours.

Italy and Spain: History as the Syllabus

For groups where the goal is cultural and historical immersion rather than a full degree, Italy and Spain remain hard to beat. The Colosseum, Vatican City and Renaissance art in Italy, and the cathedrals, museums and layered Moorish-to-modern history of Spain, turn an educational tour into a genuinely hands-on history lesson.

Australia: Research Meets the Outdoors

Australia continues to draw students for its marine biology and environmental science strength — a Great Barrier Reef visit does more for that subject than any classroom alongside a growing post-study work visa window that’s made it more attractive for students planning to gain work experience before returning home.

DestinationTypical 2-Year Cost (INR)Known For
Germany₹17–28 lakhTuition-free public universities, engineering
United Kingdom₹35–60 lakh (1-yr)Fast master’s, historic universities
Australia₹55–90 lakhMarine/environmental science, post-study visas
United States₹65 lakh–1.8 croreBreadth of choice, research funding
Italy / SpainVaries by programmeArt, history and heritage immersion

However you shortlist, planning the logistics separately from the academics tends to go wrong — flights, visas and accommodation booked late usually cost more and add avoidable stress.

Our Education Package International handles that side end-to-end, and for shorter domestic student trips, the Education Package Domestic covers campus visits and heritage tours within India.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Which country is best for foreign education?

There’s no single answer it depends on budget and course. Germany leads on affordability, the US on breadth of programmes and research funding, and the UK on programme length, since most master’s degrees finish in one year.

2. Which country is best for education in the world?

Rankings vary by metric: the US and UK lead most global university rankings for research depth, while Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark score highly for value and public education quality.

3. Is 20 lakhs enough to study abroad?

Yes, in the right country. ₹20 lakh comfortably covers a full master’s in Germany, Poland or the Czech Republic once tuition-free public universities and moderate living costs are factored in.

It’s tight but workable in parts of Central and Eastern Europe, and generally not enough for a full US, UK, Canadian or Australian degree without a scholarship or loan.

4. Which country gives 100% scholarships?

Germany and Norway are the most consistently cited for near-fully-funded study, largely because their public universities already charge zero or minimal tuition.

Beyond that, country-specific fully funded scholarships exist in the UK (Chevening), USA (Fulbright) and South Korea (Global Korea Scholarship), though these are merit-based and competitive.

Munich, the capital city of Bavaria, Germany, is a world-renowned tourist destination known for its yearly festival, Munich Oktoberfest Germany. It is one of the massive celebrations for which people travel miles from across different parts of the world. This year, the 189th Oktoberfest is about to occur between September 19 and October 4, 2026, at Theresienwiese, the usual large field where the first-ever Oktoberfest occurred.

Munich people celebrate Oktoberfest

In this blog, we’ll educate you on the most important aspects of this festival

  • Where is it hosted?
  • What is Oktoberfest, and why is it celebrated?
  • What exactly happens at the festival?
  • Can people participate as families?
  • And a lot more that you need to know before you plan the trip.

A brief note on the 1st Oktoberfest in 1810

Every year, Munich people celebrate Oktoberfest to remember and revere the Bavarian culture that dates back to the 1810s. The first Oktoberfest was the grand wedding celebration of Ludwig, the Crown Prince of Bavaria, to Princess Therese. All the Munich citizens were invited to join and celebrate the occasion with as much fun, music, dance, and beer as possible.

After the grand success, the Oktoberfest was planned every other year in the same place in Munich, near the city gates where the wedding originally occurred.

What happens at Oktoberfest in Munich?

Though most people know this two-week annual traditional event as a beer festival, in reality, it is much more than that. It includes amusements, attractions, showcases, parades, celebrations, etc. Notably, Theresienwiese is a vast land area (named after Princess Therese) and it can host millions of people.

Notably, the Opening and closing ceremonies are Special. Exclusively, two days are allocated as family days and one day as Gay Sunday. Moreover, one or two days are designated for a religious mass to administer baptism. In addition, there are outdoor concerts, gun parties, etc., to explore.

When is Oktoberfest?

For this festivity, dates are not taken into consideration. Only days count—from Saturday to next Sunday. Usually, it begins in late September and ends in the week of October. The celebration lasts for around sixteen to eighteen days. As aforementioned, for Oktoberfest 2026, the dates marked are between September 19 (Saturday) and October 4 (Sunday).

The most important part about these dates is the bookings or reservations. As people are more curious and excited to attend it every other year, stay or accommodation bookings happen well in advance—almost a year before. Thus, for the 2026 Oktoberfest, you may have to book hotels this year. For your kind information, the next year’s festival is marked between September 19 (Saturday) and October 4 (Sunday).

Foods at Oktoberfest

What’s special about Oktoberfest food and beer?

Firstly, let’s talk about the beer and then the food. In this Oktoberfest, there is a condition that the beer must be brewed only within the city limits of Munich. About six breweries brew their unique, traditional-style beer varieties, adhering to the Reinheitsgebot Purity Law.

By default, each brewery serves only its beer in its tents. They do not include the varieties of other breweries or tents at any cost. Also, beer is sold in litres or mugs, which may seem heavy but are adequate for the seats at a table.

When it comes to food, all the dishes served in the tents stick to the Bavarian cuisine, which is mouth-watering and delicious without a doubt.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Oktoberfest in Munich free?

There is no entry fee for this festival. However, for you to enjoy the beer, you need to reserve your seats. By buying tickets and getting food tokens, you can perfectly relish the festival to its fullest. Also, there is no common ticketing for entertainment activities. You can choose to buy tickets only for specific ones of your interest or need. Besides, there are only accommodation and travel expenses.

Is Oktoberfest and German Reunification Day the same?

No, they are not the same. German Reunification, or Unity Day, is a national German holiday that celebrates the anniversary of German reunification, which occurred in 1990. Every year, it is celebrated on the 3rd of October. However, if the last part of the ‘Oktober Fest’ falls before this national holiday, i.e., the 3rd of October, the fest will be extended until then.

Is it worth going to Oktoberfest in Munich?

If you’re excited about or already a fan of the uniquely tasting beer offered at the time of the Munich Fest, of course, it is worth travelling miles and attending the event. Nevertheless, every individual must make use of the chance to experience this massive travel carnival, witness the colorful beer tents, enjoy the extreme merriments, and discover the Bavarian heritage at least once in their lifetime.

The world has just recovered from the COVID pandemic, and still, we can see no drastic reduction in climate change rates or global warming. Besides, world studies claim that the tourism industry contributes at least 10% of greenhouse gas emissions worldwide. Thus, now is the high time for everyone to absorb what ‘Ecotourism’ and eco-friendly travel are all about.

While the former revolves more around a particular tourist spot or destination, its sustainability, protection, and the improvement of the welfare of the local communities, the latter revolves around one or more tourist spots to which you travel and how effectively you make the whole travel sustainable from the beginning to the end.

The primary goals of ecotourism and sustainable travel

Undoubtedly, the primary goals are sustainability and conservation of natural resources and biodiversity. However, there are different ways in which we can attain these goals. Curated here are the three easiest and most doable actions every traveller or tourist must consider.

Minimising the impact of conventional tourism

  • Focus more on slow progress and avoid aggressive or rapid development of particular tourist spots that have higher footfall.
  • Avoid visiting overcrowded tourist spots to reduce pollution.
  • Plan for environmentally friendly travel that features proper waste management.
  • Stop overutilizing the scarce resources available in the local communities.

Ensuring sustainability in every part of the travel

Whether you’re a frequent or occasional traveler, make sure your entire travel is well-planned and executed so that you reduce gas or fossil fuel consumption, reduce the disposal of harmful materials like plastic or electronics, and increase the use of sustainable materials.

Focusing on reduce, reuse, and recycle

If you ask us, “What is the most sustainable way to travel?” these three Rs would be our answer. Yes, reduce waste, reuse as many essentials as possible, and recycle the one-time used plastics or other recyclable items you carry.

Above all, these are not governmental initiatives you need to wait for. It all starts with you. Certainly, each one of us is responsible for making this happen and giving future generations a green earth that we cherish and embrace.

Tour around Turgen Waterfalls in Kazakhstan

Posted By : admin/ 856

Kazakhstan is a treasure of ice-capped mountain peaks, shining glaciers, susurrate rivers, evergreen forests, giant rocky canyons painted vibrantly by emerald mountain lakes, vivid rainbows, elegiac sunrises, and unique flora and fauna.

Turgen Waterfalls, Kazakhstan

Look at Places to visit in Kazakhstan

The Turgen Gorge in the Ili-Alatau National Park is 90 km from Almaty and blessed with abundant bounties of nature. The gorge has hot wells, a trout farm, cascades and thick forests. Full of coniferous and assorted trees, apine and sub-alpine bawns, springs and lakes, herbs and berries of medicinal value, the gorge descends 44 km into the expanse of Assy plateau (2,560m). In the bygone days, caravans from Asia and Europe crossed the Royal Gates en route to India and China. The broad valley extends 60 km east.

Wonders of Turgen in Kazakhstan

The Turgen Gorge is famous for its seven waterfalls: the Medvezhy (Bear) falls has a drop of 30 m flanked by massive cliffs and green fir trees; the Bozgul Falls is known for the sheer might of the water as it washes away an entire tunnel in the solid rough rocks. Another major attraction of the gorge is the earliest Chin Chin-Turgen mossy fir forests, which form a thick vegetation cover with a dense layer of trees.

A must-visit spot in the Turgen Gorge is Boten, the hunting base. The very place of the confluence of three rivers is the deepest point of the gorge – 920 meters. While the Kishi-Turgen flows southeast, the Turgen River runs southwest. The plateau also has an observatory. Prehistoric burial mounds and rock drawings are found along the River Asy. Also dotted are several Sacae and Usun graves in the gorge belonging to the period between 500 BC and 300 AD.

There are a couple of resorts located around the natural hot springs that discharge into the swift-flowing Turgen River. The Sinegorye, found at an altitude of 1500m above sea level in the picturesque Mirushino gorge (which is about 70 km from Almaty), gives you a wide choice of accommodations. The small mountain lakes above the Sinegorye offer good possibilities to fish and bathe; the lower down, a trout farm, allows you to test your fishing skills, and maybe catch a few fish if you’re lucky, for supper.
